Supporting the digitalization of municipal services

The digitalization of municipal services will have major impacts: - Increased administrative efficiency: significant reduction in file-processing times and optimization of internal workflows. - Strengthened transparency: better budget monitoring, publication of key information, and easier data access for citizens. - Improved citizen participation: facilitating interactions and consultation of the population via digital platforms. - Simplification of procedures: offering accessible online services, improving the experience of users and the diaspora. - Capacity building: skills transfer and training of municipal staff in digital tools and practices.

We are seeking members of the diaspora, experts in the following fields, to offer their volunteer support: - Experts in digital transformation and IT project management: to structure and steer the digitalization projects. - Developers and systems architects: specialists in the design and implementation of software solutions (civil registry, taxation, document management). - Cybersecurity and data protection specialists: to ensure the security of digital infrastructure and information. - Trainers and change facilitators: to train municipal staff in the use of new tools and processes. - Business process optimization consultants: to analyze and redefine administrative procedures before their digitalization.

The mission is flexible and can be carried out mainly remotely. Occasional travel to Édéa could be considered for key phases (workshops, intensive training, deployment), with arrangements to be defined for covering expenses. A good internet connection and the ability to collaborate online are essential. Regular commitment, even a few hours per week, is valuable.
