General description
This mission aims to catalyze the creation of sustainable jobs, specifically for young people (18-35 years old), in the country of origin, through the strategic mobilization of the diaspora. We will establish a dedicated investment and expertise fund, targeting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and innovative high-potential startups in key sectors such as agro-industry, digital technologies, the green economy, and value-added services. The mechanism will include venture capital, microcredit, and technical and managerial support, with an initial focus on rural and semi-urban areas.
Impacts / Objectives
1. **Job creation:** Generate a significant number of direct and indirect jobs for young people. 2. **Economic development:** Foster the emergence and growth of innovative SMEs and startups, contributing to economic diversification. 3. **Youth empowerment:** Increase the average income and economic empowerment of young entrepreneurs. 4. **Skills transfer:** Strengthen local entrepreneurial and technical capacities through mentoring and the transfer of know-how from the diaspora. 5. **Reduction of exodus:** Offer concrete opportunities to retain young talent in the country.
Contribution details
We are seeking members of the diaspora wishing to engage actively:
* **Investors (individuals, angels, funds):** Provision of financial capital for the fund or direct participation in projects.
* **Sectoral experts and professionals:** Sharing of expertise (strategy, management, marketing, technology, finance), mentoring of entrepreneurs.
* **Network developers:** Facilitation of access to international markets, commercial partnerships, and other sources of funding.
* **Qualified volunteers:** Support for project management, opportunity assessment, communication, and fundraising.
Mission conditions
The financial commitment will be made within the structured framework of an investment fund with transparent governance and clear participation conditions for investors. Experts and mentors will commit to defined missions (duration, objectives) with regular follow-up. The selection of beneficiary projects will be based on strict criteria of economic viability, measurable social impact, and job creation for young people, ensuring optimal use of resources.
