General description
This ambitious project aims to revitalize the local sports culture and strengthen youth empowerment in a specific city (to be defined) by mobilizing the expertise and network of the diaspora. We will seek to structure inclusive educational sports programs, organize regular events and competitions, and implement personal and professional development workshops for young people. Sport will be used as a powerful tool to instill essential values such as discipline, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance, while also providing opportunities for mentorship and the development of transferable skills. The involvement of the diaspora is crucial in bringing innovative approaches, resources, and sustainable support, thereby creating bridges between the local community and its members established abroad.
Impacts / Objectives
A 30% increase in youth (ages 12–25) participation in structured sports activities over the next 18 months.
Development of leadership and organizational skills among at least 50 young people through mentorship and training programs.
Creation of 5 new partnerships between local sports associations and diaspora experts.
Improved access to sports equipment or infrastructure through diaspora-led initiatives.
Strengthening of the sense of belonging and social cohesion among local youth.
Contribution details
We are seeking members of the diaspora with proven expertise in the following areas:
Sports project management: for the planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives.
Coaching and training: qualified sports coaches and educators specializing in youth development.
Event organization: to set up competitions, workshops, and sports gatherings.
Fundraising and partnerships: to secure the necessary financial and material resources.
Communication and outreach: to promote the project and attract p.
Mission conditions
The mission is based on a volunteer commitment. Flexible availability for remote activities and potentially on-site travel is expected. The ability to collaborate within a multicultural team is essential.
