General description
This mission aims to support the empowerment of internally displaced women in Nkongsamba through innovative entrepreneurship, particularly in the snail-farming sector (heliciculture). Building on the initiatives of MINDDEVEL and FEICOM, the project transforms humanitarian aid into opportunities for sustainable growth. Volunteer experts will support the structuring of women's associations to move from a subsistence activity to a genuine production unit that generates income and economic resilience.
Impacts / Objectives
Ensure the social reintegration and financial autonomy of vulnerable and displaced women.
Develop an innovative and sustainable agricultural value chain (snail farming) at the local level.
Strengthen the dignity and economic resilience of communities in the face of crises.
Contribution details
Experts in agronomy (specialized in innovative farming), entrepreneurship advisers, or local development project managers, capable of training women's groups in production and management techniques.
Mission conditions
The mission requires the ability to adapt to a sensitive social context (an audience of displaced women). Knowledge of micro-entrepreneurship mechanisms in rural or decentralized urban areas is an asset. Activities take place mainly in the field in Nkongsamba 1er.
