Supporting cleanliness campaigns

The city of Édéa carries out concrete cleanliness and sanitation actions, including community clean-up days in key neighborhoods (Nylon, Makéa, Ewodi), clearing gutters, and removing garbage in markets and around schools. Interventions also target main roads, bus stations, and public spaces, often with the involvement of youth associations. Awareness campaigns are conducted to combat illegal dumping and encourage the use of waste bins. These initiatives are concrete but require strengthened resources to be fully effective.
