The Cameroonian Initiative for Social Well-being is an association for the promotion and protection of human rights created in 2022, legalized in 2024 through the contribution of humanitarian volunteers. It aims to support socially vulnerable people (children living with disabilities, orphans, street children, teenage mothers, widows, and women heads of household...). Area of intervention: education/training; empowerment; community health and ASRH; child protection/safeguarding; gender/disability inclusion. Based in Garoua in the North of Cameroon, the association has a national and even international aspiration as needed.
An inclusive education project integrated with empowerment is an initiative of the association known as the Cameroonian Initiative for Social Well-being, aimed at enrolling all children, including those with disabilities or in vulnerable situations, in mainstream schools. It adapts the education system to the child's needs and combines academic learning with practical, social, and economic skills to restore their independence and active participation.
