This mission aims to modernize the sector by improving agricultural techniques, mechanization, and local processing of key products (coffee, maize, vegetables). It involves structuring complete value chains, developing essential infrastructure such as storage and cold chain facilities, and creating innovative agro-industrial enterprises. The involvement of the diaspora is crucial to catalyzing these investments and transforming Bamenda into a food production hub.
Impacts/objectifs
Significantly increase agricultural productivity and the incomes of local farmers in Bamenda. Create added value through local processing of products, reducing post-harvest losses and strengthening regional food security. Generate hundreds of sustainable job opportunities for young people in the agribusiness sector and related value chains. Position Bamenda as an engine of economic growth and sustainable rural development.

The diaspora is invited to contribute through: 1. Direct financial investments or via public-private partnerships for the modernization of equipment, cold storage infrastructure, and processing units. 2. The provision of technical expertise and know-how in modern agriculture, agro-processing, value chain management, and marketing. 3. The sharing of networks for access to technologies, export markets, and financing opportunities.
