Support for local civil society (education, poverty reduction…)

Amplify the work of local associations for sustainable and inclusive development in Garoua. The objectives include improving access to education and qualifying training for young people, creating economic opportunities to reduce poverty, and improving general living conditions (health, hygiene). For example, supporting 20 young entrepreneurs per year, equipping training workshops, or funding school scholarships for disadvantaged students.

The diaspora is called upon for varied and direct contributions: - Funding: Support for income-generating micro-projects (e.g., processing units, small-scale livestock farming), school scholarships, funding for mobile clinics, or funds for young entrepreneurs. - Equipment: Donation of equipment for training centers (sewing machines, computers, technical tools). - Skills/Expertise: Remote mentoring (via WhatsApp/video conference) to support project leaders, sharing expertise in management, marketing, or specific techniques. - Networks: Facilitating partnerships with international NGOs or other development stakeholders.

A commitment to collaborate closely and respectfully with local stakeholders in Garoua. Transparency in the use of funds or resources. The ability to communicate effectively at a distance for mentoring or project monitoring. A willingness to engage in long-term support and the strengthening of local capacities.
