General description
The PASENIE Phase 2 program, launched in January 2026, aims to support 150 young entrepreneurs in Bamenda through grants and technical assistance. This phase focuses on strengthening entrepreneurial skills in key sectors (agriculture, services, digital technologies, and handicrafts) and improving access to markets and financial services. Your role will be to provide one-on-one mentoring to help these young people overcome challenges such as lack of capital, gaps in business management skills, and limited market access.
Impacts / Objectives
Increase the success rate of businesses created by young entrepreneurs. Strengthen the business management, accounting, and marketing skills of beneficiaries. Improve young entrepreneurs' access to regional and national markets. Contribute to reducing youth unemployment in Bamenda through entrepreneurship.
Contribution details
Providing sector-specific expertise (agriculture, digital technology, crafts, services). Sharing entrepreneurial experiences and best practices. Access to influential professional networks to facilitate market access and financing. Strategic advice for business plan development and business management.
Mission conditions
Commitment to regular and structured mentoring. Availability for mentoring sessions (in person or remotely). Ability to communicate effectively and inspire young entrepreneurs. Understanding of local issues in Bamenda (an asset).
